Site design for Decca’s new ‘post-classical’ record label.
Client Brief: Mercury KX is focused on new instrumental music –‘crossing borders between electronic, modern, classical, alternative and ambient’ – the site should be clean and contemporary to reflect the artists it represents.
As the lead designer on this project, I created a clean modular site, keeping the content at the site’s forefront. Elements of the brand are scattered throughout the site, with emblems on each article. The site remains mainly monochrome until elements are hovered on, bringing them to life.
